Sailing and Flemenco guitar

Since I love nature I could watch wild life movies and documentaries for hours, particularly anything related to the ocean.

How the God's speak to us.

Where to begin. I love to read.

I attended the U of Hawaii during the early 60's. At that time, few Americans stateside had ever heard of Karate. Judo was somewhat known but that was all. At 19 a mutual friend introduced me to Kimo, a Hawaiian guy in his late 20's. Kimo impressed me right off. He looked tough as nails. He had an aura about him that projected confidence and yet he never acted tough. On the contrary, he shook my hand without breaking bones and spoke in a soft voice. Others rushed over to say hello. Everyone knew him and liked him. He treated others with respect and kindness. When he left us, after that first meeting, my friend looked around to see that no one overheard and then whispered to me that "He's a Karate man." I had no idea what that meant but acted like I did. I whispered back. "Wow"

Gosoku-ryu

Years later, in my early 30's, I found myself the innocent victim in an armed robbery. The gunman blew up my hip with a 357 mag hollow point. Laying in hospital for months, I promised myself to finally turn dreams into reality. Studying Karate was at the top of my list. When I could move again, I met Master Kubota and became a member of International Karate Association. After 20 some years of study and one of the best endeavors of my life,I turned another dream into reality when I sailed a small boat alone around the world.

It use to be blue-eyed blonds. Today, at 68, I still look... but can't remember why?

phony people.

I don't mind living with myself.
